Analysis of The Poverty of Bagan-Rambo’s Sawi Based on Term of Trade of Fisherman (NTN) at Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Sub-District, Barru District
ABSTRACT
This research aims to know
the pattern of relations between punggawa- sawi and to analyze the term of
trade
of fisherman of sawi on the bagan-rambo fishing gear at Sumpang Binangae Village, Barru Sub-District, Barru District.
Terms of trade of
fisherman (NTN) concept
are
used as approach of measuring the
level of basic needs of fisherman that considers all of revenues and expenditures
of bagan rambo's sawi household. Types of this research using instrumental case study. Analyze bagan-rambo’s sawi poverty by NTN with sawi as an instrument
to understanding their lives.
This research showed that the
pattern of relations between punggawa-sawi
on the bagan-rambo fishing gear at Sumpang Binangae, Barru Sub-District, Barru
District is a pattern of relations between patron-client and
terms of trade of fisherman (NTN)
of bagan-rambo’s sawi is lower than one hundred (88,49) which
means that sawi on the bagan rambo
is not fulfill their basic
needs.
